Vice & Velvet is a one-woman show. Established in 2011 in Melbourne city, Australia, we combine the urban influence with our love for natural, sustainably sourced ingredients. Every product is designed, made and packaged by the same two hands. It’s not just business, it’s personal.
Our soaps and uniquely scented bath and body products are handmade entirely from scratch. We never use pre-manufactured “bases” and our recipes have been formulated with lots of skin loving oils and butters. Vice & Velvet products are vegan and tested only on (eager) human beings.
Our bar soaps are definitely our stars, made in small batches and cut, stamped and wrapped by hand. Our packaging is minimal and practical - we feel that this is kinder to the environment but also lets the products speak for themselves.

Mei - Creator, formulator, soap maker, scent blender, photo taker, graphic designer, product packer, book keeper and general cheerleader at V&V. Mei has been making soap and body products since her early teens, a passion that lasted over a decade before Vice & Velvet was born.
